BTC - Net Unrealized Loss (USD)
Description
The Bitcoin Net Unrealized Loss shows the total amount of unrealized loss on the network held in unprofitable UTXOs. Profitable UTXOs are excluded. All valuations are in USD.
Bitcoin's USD Market Price is included for reference.

Technical Info
By tracking each UTXOs purchase price and value in Satoshis, we can determine which UTXOs are unprofitable, calculate their current losses, sum them up, and chart the sum over time.
Unrealized loss is valued in USD.
- Hourly and daily aggregations are derived from block data using first for this metric.
- Hourly data contains occasional gaps; no blocks were generated during these times.
