FAQ Update Date: 01.01.2023

While we're in Beta, customer support is extremely limited. However, please still let us know how we're doing. If you're here and willing to give feedback, we're listening to you.

Q: Where can I reset each chart's view settings?
A: At the bottom of each page is a reset link that will reset view settings for that specific chart. Alternatively, you can manually clear our domain's cookies through your browser's settings.

Q: How does the 'Last Data' counter work?
A: The value is the amount of time for which the chart does not have data. The time format is 'hh:mm:ss', and the expected delay depends on the data resolution.

How it works depends on the data aggregation method. For 'open,' the last data is the time difference between now and the most recent visible data point. For other methods such as 'sum' or 'average,' the most recent visible data point includes all data from that period, displayed at the beginning of that period. For example, if the most recent data point on the chart is 06:00, data from 06:00-07:00 is used to calculate that value at 06:00. This makes the 'Last Data' display appear to refer to a time that has no data on the chart.

Q: Where can I report bugs, ask questions and give constructive feedback?
A: Bug reports can be sent here: mesmerdatallc+bugs@gmail.com. Feedback and questions can be directed to mesmerdatallc+feedback@gmail.com, however we do not have formal customer support, and for now, a response is not guaranteed.

Q: When are scheduled maintenance windows?
A: Scheduled website downtime is currently 1800-2200 UTC Sundays, weekly.

Q: Where can I find legal information regarding cookies, privacy, etc?
A: At the bottom of every page are links to disclaimers, privacy, and cookie settings.

Q: Are you hiring?
A: For now, mesmerdata.com will continue to be a one-man operation. This keeps costs down for both of us, and keeps this company from growing out of scope.
